Hi there, can someone help me.

My store's categories box has 4 categories in it. The first category has 4 sub categories in it.

Now here's my problem.

When you click the main link to the first category (the one containing all the subcategories) it opens "catalog/index.php?cPath=48" but displays the information

from my index.php file.

The other categories link to a page showing a header with the title of the category in it.

What I need to know is how to change what is displayed when a category is click.

I hope this isn't too confusing.

Example:

Category 1

.....Sub 1

.....Sub 2

.....Sub 3

.....Sub 4

Category 2

Category 3

Category 4

Ok sub 1,2,3 and 4 all display the products in them which is correct. I want Category 1 to display a page describing the products in the sub categories but at the moment it displays

the data from index.php.

How can I change this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Thank you so much.

With a little editing it works a treat.

Yes, that was written by the great and all-powerful Chemo :D I would recommend searching the contributions area for his name to bring up a listing of some of his other work, because he's got some great ones out there, i.e. Ultimate SEO Url's, page caching, etc... And I believe he has a message thread in these forums at one point about massively crunching down the number of queries used to load a page in the store from like 92 to 5, which severely cut down load time... I think he has load time at something like .8 seconds...
