Guest Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 I'm relatively new to osCommerce, so apologies if this has been asked before. I've tried searching the contributions and the forum, but haven't found exactly what i'm after. Basically, i'm trying to setup an online shop selling dog clothes (don't laugh, not my idea...). However, we have dog t-shirts (really, stop sniggering....) and each shirt has 4 different sizes. In my old site - far inferior to oscommerce - I was able to store the stock levels for each size in the DB, and only display a size if it was in stock. And, if it had been ordered, adjust the stock level accordingly. Is there anything like this for osCommerce? I assume there is as from my dealings with it so far, it seems so flexible. I thought i'd post this in the General Contribution Support thread as not sure where to put it really - apologies if this is in the wrong place. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Quote

Suggest you install the QT Pro v4.3 contribution... http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ons,888/page,47 It allows you to track product based on atributes. For example you can track a product by size and colour. I should note that the install is a bit of a pain if you have already installed other contributions, so I highly recommend first installing on a backup site first and test. I did, as I have 6 contributions installed, and it was the smartest thing I did! Good Luck! Quote Ragi Sekaly Northern Penguin Technologies
