Mrs Minx Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Hi - just wanted to ask about a couple of things please. 1.Where you enter your main categories into your shop, there is an option when adding these categories to put a picture in there. On some of them I haven't and so I notice when the page loads that it displays for a flicker that no page image in top right corner. To solve this unsighlty thing, would it be worth putting a transparent image there? 2. Categories - when adding a sub category (under the main category), you can use text to give the sub category a title and then also a picture. Whats happening on my site is that text is coming up below picture in main window (index) area. So its 'doubled up' and looks silly. I removed the text, and of course the nav bar on the left doesn't show any categories then. So my question is, how do you have text in the nav bar on left hand side for sub cats - but only text or picture (one or the other) showing in the main display page of the website (to the right of nav bar)? glamourfish Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Just don't add a picture for the subcategories. Then go to your admin - configuration - images & set image required to false. Now when you don' have an image it just doesn't display & it does not show a broken link icon either. Hope that helps! if at first you do succeed...try not to look surprised!
