Then I changed the catalog and admin configure.php files as directed in the forums. http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=151162 Now when a customer hits check out the next page https://mywebsite/checkout_shipping.php comes up as '404 page not found' any help would be much appreciated. thanks, Leonard
Guest
You need to get an SSL Certificate before you change it in your configure.php files. Keep everything as http until then.
nvedia
One question here out of curiosity When we call http://mywebsite/checkout_shipping.php file checkout_shipping.php is called which is placed in the root of web directory but what happens when we call https://mywebsite/checkout_shipping.php I am sure same file is getting called here too, then what changes here? I am experiencing the same issue but with a dedicated SSL (rapidSSL). Thanks.

Ok, my host was nice to fix this problem. It seems that the "catalog" was not included in this line: define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/catalog/')

Yes, I did get it resolved. It was a hosting issue. They had me on hold for ever and when they came back it was corrected. The person I was speaking with couldn't give my any info.
