Google Checkout: How to clear cart after successful checkout

I installed the Google Checkout module successfully, but would like the customer cart to clear after successful completion of payment through google checkout. I set up the Continue shopping URL in the Google payment module to: /checkout_success.php. This directs the customer to the "Thanks for the Order, etc." screen, but the cart is still full. Any ideas on how to empty the cart here? :'(
