onmcv Posted February 22, 2007 Share Posted February 22, 2007 i want to run my store locally first so i'v unzipped the folder catalog in the folder apache/htdocs then i wrote in the browser http://localhost/catalog/install/ i get to step 1 when i press continue it doesn't take me to step 2 and doesn't show me any error message What is the problem? ♥Vger Posted February 22, 2007 Share Posted February 22, 2007 Install gets stuck on page 2 --------------------------- The most common cause for installation getting stuck in step 2 is that most recent PHP installations have register_long_arrays = OFF This needs to be turned to ON in the php.ini file (you will need to stop and restart your server to get this change to take effect.) Vger Thnx a lot man it worked good .... but i'm stuck in step 3 ... it gives me the following message.... I at first had the error on step 2, corrected the long_array business, and am now stuck at step 3.
