How to set up PayPal in OSC

My newbie question says it all: What do I need to do to get PayPal set up in my OS Commerce shop? For the time being, it is the only way customers will be able to shop at my store; I do not anticipate doing credit card purchases or anything else.

You need to:

 

- open a business type account at paypal

- enable the paypal module in admin->modules->payment

- edit that module and put in your paypal account

 

You should replace the stock paypal module with the oscommerce_paypal_ipn module.

And I would do that BEFORE enabling the paypal module in admin->modules->payment, right?

It is one of the easiest to install of all of the thousands of contributions. You should install it first. You will have two in admin then. Only enable the new one.
