Kirstyd Posted February 21, 2007 Share Posted February 21, 2007 Please help, I am based in South Africa (therefore I have no use for the 'States' field in the sign up form) and our VAT is simply charged at 14% to every customer. Because I do not utilise States, I have already had to modify osCommerce to make the Zone-ID of each customer default to the zone I have set up for South African tax so that they will all be charged VAT. However before the customer registers on the site the products are shown excluding VAT / Tax. This is quite misleading because as soon as they log in / become a member the prices all increase by 14% because the VAT/Tax is then included and the price is displayed inclusive of the VAT/tax. If anyone can assist me with a way to make the price inclusive of VAT/tax at 14% shown as such at all times to all customers I would really appreciate it.
