Problems with downloads

Hello just wondering if someone can help me with this problem,

 

Im trying to setup downloads on my CRE Loaded6 v6.2 Pro[081] store but keep running into the same problem.

 

 

I can manage to get the download file (unreal.zip) to show in the customer account but when i click it, it says

 

"The page cannot be found

The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."

 

any ideas?

Mostly there is no discussing anything but osC here and this question is better asked on it's forum.

 

That said, check your config file, these lines specifically, and make sure it's pointing where your downloads actually are

 

define('DIR_WS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', 'pub/');

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/your/catalog/path/');

define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'download/');

define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'pub/');

 

Also make sure the webserver can write to pub
