What is the P.I. in the address book?

I have added several contributions in the last year and I seem to have picked up an unidentified term.

In a customers address page under "My Account", there is a listing as follows:

JGO Enterprises Inc.
Eddie Johansan

133 Any Ave.

Hamilton, L9C2H2

ON, Canada

Commercial

P.I.

I can't figue out where the P.I. is coming from or what it means.

Anyone else have this and can shed some light?

Give us the code to your address_book.php

If you don't know what it is and it isn't needed you can always edit it out.

Is there any text next to it?

There is nothing beside the P.I. and it is on each of the customers addresses that they enter into the system.

I went ahead and created an account. I see no P.I. on the address screen. I also went and added the identical address but changed form Residential to Commercial.

It must be something only you can see in Admin.

I would download your latest data base and do a search for P.I. Best I can offer. You can delete me from your customers now :)

Oh, "No shipping charges will be billed at this time." What Contribution are you using for this?

I have found the solution if anyone is still looking.

It relates to the Italian WAI branch of oscommerce.

It is something to do with a module called: PIVACF.

Basically "P.I" will get appended to the end of any address in which the user enters a company, it may also show their VAT number after this if this is enabled.

To remove the "P.I" appenditure from the address. Open:

catalog/includes/functions/general.php

line 527 or so, find:

$address = $company . $cr . $address. $cr . "P.I. ". $piva;

change to:

$address = $company . $cr . $address;

Sorted :)
