Installation Problem: Can anyone help?

Recommended Posts

I have recently been trying to install osCommerce for the first time and ran into a slight problem.

On step 1 of the database import (step 3 total) it is throwing me an error saying "SQL file does not exist: /www/install/oscommerce.sql" and yet I have double checked to verify this file is in this location.

Any suggestions? This is my first install attempt, but I have been working with customization of this program for some time now so I have a good understanding of it. Few tings:

1. I have catalog set in /www root location instead of /www/catalog, thus why listed as above.

2. Proper permissions have been set on all folders for install. Corresponding 755 or 777 chmods as required.

Any help anyone can provide is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance! :P

Sincerely,

Bruce

Hi!

Will you people be so kind ti tell me EXACTLY which line in /includes/configure.php

I must to change so that I can get rid off this error message:

"The following error has occurred:

SQL file does not exist: /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/install/oscommerce.sql"

I don't have so much experience when it comes to PHP, but I simply can't find the line that holds "www" as mushindo said. :(

Well?
