Show Products on Main Page

I have a very simple web site that only sells 2 or 3 products, but

I'd like them to show up directly on the main page.

 

I've noticed that I can link directly to the catalog/product_info.php

file and display ONE product, but I'd like all 2 or 3 of my products

to show up in 2 or 3 rows on the main page. I've also noticed I can

link directly to the products_new.php file, but that doesn't include the

product descriptions.
