I personally think this is the best tool. winmerge is a free tool (found on sourceforge.net) , used by a lot of people because it is also opensource, but it does not allow you to compare files through FTP. ultra-edit editor includes ultra-compare, this also allows to compare files through FTP but not the actual merging of content. KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON I do not use the responsive bootstrap version since i coded my responsive version earlier, but i have bought every 28d of code package to support burts effort and keep this forum alive (albeit more like on life support). I started out with WinMerge since it was "free" but needed more so I purchased Beyond Compare after the initial trial period.
