different image sizes

I am lookng for a way to create different image sizes. In the productlisting all images are resized into the small image size which is defined in the administration configuration image values, however i have some products which I want to be displayed with a different size image for example t-shirts image size width 100 height 180, placemats image width 180 height 100 is there a way?

I checked all contributions but none handles this. I posted a question now i am awaiting a reaction as soon as i have one i let you know

I was searching the forum for answers to the same question but found it too hard to wade through all the posts so I googled my request instead.

 

The answer seems quite simple! Just go to your admin panel > configuration > images and then simply delete (i.e. leave blank space but do NOT put 0) the fields for small image width & height.

 

Alternatively you could leave a value in the small image height section and it will just automatically resize width to be proportional to that height.
