GemRock
Its not OK - the whole process of installation could take as much as a couple of minutes from start to finish. You need to post more details of your installation such as what server (local or live), any msg on screen etc. and where you got the oscommerce from... ♥Vger
Install gets stuck on page 2 --------------------------- The most common cause for installation getting stuck in step 2 is that most recent PHP installations have register_long_arrays = OFF This needs to be turned to ON in the php.ini file (you will need to stop and restart your server to get this change to take effect.) bkellum
Add it to the file. Vger Vger is correct in what she has suggested. ;) Try adding this line to your php.ini file: register_long_arrays = On or long_arrays = On Hope this helped you out. Joecool121
I solved this Problem today. The reason why this doesn't work is because PHP and/or IIS isn't correctly configured. If you use those instructions, it WILL work and the error won't occur: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/lofiversion/i...hp/t118916.html
