Error>Cannot send session cookie> already sent

The following is the error message getting at the top of catalog page:

 

Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at /home/keepsake/public_html/osCommerce/catalog/index.php:1) in /home/keepsake/public_html/osCommerce/catalog/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 67

 

Went to knowledge base> under comon problems> removed blank before <? and after >?. Still getting same message. Anyone have any ideas ?? Been trying to get resolved for week lost catalog<index.php copied new one from http://oscommerce-reference.swisscart.com/...dmin/index.html
