Sal Posted February 16, 2007 Share Posted February 16, 2007 Hiya :) I hope some of you can help me as I have a few questions regarding my oscommerce shop. 1) Where are the meta tags for me to change? 2) How do I turn on/add a newsletter box which I keep seeing on other oscommerce shops but I cannot find it in my admin section. 3) How do I add an extra page to the shipping, conditions, about us area? 4) Is it possible to add a blank info box where I can add something of my own? Sorry to bombard you all but I have been searching for an hour on here and am just getting more confused! You can install a contribution called "header tags controller" that allows us complete control of your headertags. Based on OsCommerce 2.2 MS2 - Mods Including: Customer Approval, STS Template System, OS-CMS, Sage Line 50 Sync, Locate a Stockist, Auto Thumbnailer, Easy Populator, Visitors Stats, Extra Images, Header Tags Controller, Unsold Cart, Products w/o Description/Prices/Images Reports, Backup Customers Table, Login to See Prices. Full customised products_info.php page. OSC Links Manager. Minimum Order Amount. Visitor Web Stats. Google Sitemap. All products page (user sitemap). The OsCommerce Site is hosted on 1 domain with 20 feeder domains extracting data from OS-CMS & the shop catalogue. ozzieshopper Posted February 17, 2007 Share Posted February 17, 2007 Oh crikey that means installing mods and things doesn't it? eeeeeek! :o :sweating: :wacko: Hi Sal, Yes it does but as daunting as it may seem it's not that hard, step by step instructions follow; 1]when you find the contribution you want download it to a file on your machine (*TIP- I usually save mine in Local Disk (C:) Create a new folder such as "OSC extra page contrib") 2]unzip and save the file to your new folder 3]go to the new folder and open it, inside it should have a read me file with instructions on which folder/s the files need to be uploaded to. I am just about to upload the extra pages contribution myself so if you have any trouble just let me know and I will try and help you further if I am able to.
