potential security risk

Hi all,

I keep getting the following error message on my Catalog, I have changed the catalog/includes/configure.php files permission to 644 and even to 444 but I keep getting the same error message, any idea why?

Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/weddtcom/public_html/directory/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.

Many thanks in advance

Mitchell

Some servers require you to set this at the control panel (file manager), not FTP.

I'm experiencing the same problem. I've tried to set permissions using the control panel but keep getting the same warning message. I'll try tech support and let you all know how it turns out.
