Getting the correct price to display for taxes

Hi All,

 

I have a question. Since no one seemed to know what I could do to get the taxes to stop being applied to the total of the sub-total and the shipping...

would someone know how I could at least plug that variable into the displayed tax. It would then show $4.30 instead of $3.90, making the Total correct. That way a customer would not think that I was trying to cheat them.

 

6% $64.95

 

Sub-Total: $64.95

Tax: $3.90

Shipping: $6.75

Total: $76.01
