Need to upload products with EP without categories

We need to be able to upload products with Easy Populate Basic without specifying categories in the upload file. Reason for that is we're trying to keep our site syncronized with supplyer's inventory and adding categories to thousands of records everyday is simply not an option. I was hoping that EP would update products that are already in categories on our site, and the ones that are not there yet would be put into "Top" category and we could manually move them to appropriate category from there. This is URGENT and very needed. I'm very disappointed that EP doesn't put uncategorized products in a place where they can be edited and categorized later. I did notice that it puts them into Admin > Catalog > Products Expected where they can be edited but I still don't know how to get them to their right category from there. Somebody please suggest something.
