PeterMoreton Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Hi, I want to get started with osCommerce, and would like to develop my site completely offline, and just upload to my ISP (Easyspace) when the site is finished. So, my question is, what should I develop and test within? Thoughts are: Virtual PC 2007 (to host the environment) Ubuntu Linux +apache +mySQL or: Virtual PC 2007 XP SP2 +IIS +mySQL? Does this make sense? - should I use another flavour of Linux? Thanks.
