HELP! Please... With tax calculations

Hi All,

 

I was having this problem with my install of osC so I did a quick install of the latest snapshot and set it up. Here you can see it's still doing the same thing. It's adding up the sub-total and shipping, then taking 6% of that total and adding it to the first total.

 

 

Sub-Total: $64.95

Tax: $3.90

Best Way: $6.75

Total: $76.01

 

 

What I want is to just do 6% of the sub-total and then add in the shipping and then it will match the total. If someone were to try to make a purchase from me and saw that these totals didn't add up, what would they think?

 

There has to be some way that I can change the way that the cart is calculating this and make it stop taxing the shipping. Is there a file that does the math that I can modify? Untill then I can just forget about ever going live.

 

Can someone please point me in the right direction?
