Documentation for writing contributions?

Hi,

 

I've been asked to integrate sendcard into an OsCommerce installation. The actual integration is not difficult at all (although a hack as I can't find any official hooks to add code to the catalog templates), but this time the client has requested that sendcard's administration area be integrated into OsCommerce's integration area.

 

Are there hooks available to integrate new modules into the admin area, wrapping them in the theme and adding them to the menus etc? I have looked for documentation on this topic but haven't found any. Does it exist?

I've been searching for a good PHP book that deals directly with osCommerce regarding the development side and have not found any. The only resource that has worked for me has been the PHP Manual (php.net) and this awesome forum filled with some truly knowledgable members.

If you find any good books or templates on the subject, please let me know as well. :thumbsup:
