If you are testing with the Express Checkout API, there won't be any item details shown on the paypal page. If you are testing with the Direct Payment Pro API, I have no idea. The PayPal US Pro package seemed like a modified version of Brian Burton's WPP + EC module v0.7.3. Either you ask in the PayPal's support thread or WPP + EC support thread, you probably get better chance to be answered.
