Hello all:

I have been trying to make work a site ( securitywholesale.net ) with an SSL certificate. But have found a few issues that don't let me go to sleep

Internet Explorer shows the message "This page displays both secure and nonsecure items", and when I look for the address of an image (right clicking on the mouse and selecting properties) the image indeed appears as an http://www.securitywholesale.net/images/oscommerce.gif the issue is this:

OSC runs out of http://www.securitywholesale.net/catalog, therefore the path to the image should be: http://www.securitywholesale.net/images/oscommerce.gif

If I take http://www.securitywholesale.net/images/oscommerce.gif and paste it in a new browser page, it will display the "This page displays both secure and nonsecure items" message and then redirect to https://www.securitywholesale.net/catalog/i.../oscommerce.gif

If I do the same process in Mozilla, this problem does not appear.

Any hints on how to resolve this issue?

its because your image file is located in http and your trying to access thru ssl , this is a feature in internet explorer , actually you can set this off in internet options ...but to get around it try looking in google ....

After researching in Google, I found that the only way to fix this issue is to point the /catalog/images to the https, two ways to solve it:

1. adding https to every http in OSC

2. replacing links to http://www.securitywholesale.net/images to ../catalog/images/image.gif

Any clues how to deal with this?
