josemarques Posted February 11, 2007 Share Posted February 11, 2007 Hi. I moved from a hosting account, to a virtual dedicated server. Everything worked fine before. I moved everything, including the database, corrected the register_globals problems, and updated the configure.php to the new server settings, but... When I click on a product i get "product not found", and when i click on a category or a brand name, I get the front page... Customer login also doesn't work. In admin section, a lot doesn't work... Can't select subcategories, and insted the correct headings, I get "HEADING_TITLE"... In configuration, i can only get the first page. If I select stock, or email options, it goes to My Store. And when I change to zones, for example, the menu doesn't change... You can check it out at www.incalculavel.com ... it's only in Portuguese, but I think it's easy to handle. usernamenone Posted February 12, 2007 Share Posted February 12, 2007 Add your products to the new install. They can not be found with the old id and need to be a new product. I am guessing the ones you see on your web page are in your database and should be removed from there and then added through admin. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

usernamenone Posted February 12, 2007 Share Posted February 12, 2007 well that is your problem. You can not just move everything over. You have to set up your database and either do a restore from a back up or an install using the files that you copied from your old site. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

"I moved everything, including the database, corrected the register_globals problems, and updated the configure.php to the new server settings" So, I moved the files, set up a new database, and imported the old one there, and update configure.php to the new settings.
