warleb Posted February 9, 2007 Share Posted February 9, 2007 Hi All, we have just become VAT registered and now it's time to calculate the VAT on all our prices. Now I could attempt to do this using mysql admin but I don't want to screw things up as it's a live shop. The prices on the website are the full retail price so I need to recalulate Products Price (Net): to be the price without VAT. Now I know I need to do something like Products Price (Net): = Products Price (Gross): / 1.175 and then switch on the tax class. Can anyone assist with this or is there a contrib. I really can't attempt to do this of the cuff because it's a live shop and I can afford to srew it up. I hope someone can help... Regards Steve I don't bother doing backups.
