Will original UPS module still work after installing UPSXML ?

OK. Yet another question. I'm starting to feel very guilty about always asking.....

I'm getting this error when the you try to go to the shipping page:

0 -

select c.categories_id, cd.categories_name, c.parent_id from categories c, categories_description cd where c.categories_id = cd.categories_id and cd.language_id="1" order by sort_order, cd.categories_name

0 -

select count(*) as total from sessions where sesskey = 'fbdf203fa5470c0dba99342cb3705ce7'

Warning: Unknown(): A session is active. You cannot change the session module's ini settings at this time. in Unknown on line 0

Once again this started happenning after I tried to install/upgrade a new module. This time the module was authorize.net AIM.

Everything was working just fine before I tried to upgrade and I've checked and re-checked the upgrade instructions.

Does anyone recognize this error and know of a way to fix, or a direction to head to, or which thing is breaking this (the upgrade to AuthorNetAIM or UPS XML or my GoDaddy host etc.)?

Thank you in advance....
