shahed Posted October 9, 2002 Posted October 9, 2002 Hello Since My store has been running on another shopping cart and already have 1500 orders so far, I like to start with order 1501 , is it possible? Shahed
Jan0815 Posted October 9, 2002 Posted October 9, 2002 Yes. Make a test-order and after the order is in the database change the orders_id in the orders table to 1500. You can do this with PHPmyadmin for example. The next order will have (surprise) 1501 as order number. You can now safely delete your test order. This question has been asked before. The answer is also in the forum. Please save us work and use the search functions first. HTH You can't have everything. shahed Posted October 9, 2002 Author Posted October 9, 2002 Thanks man, I did search for 2 days, couldn't find it .. Thanks..
hobbzilla Posted October 9, 2002 Posted October 9, 2002 I don't think Jan meant for you to manually "search" for it in the archives. There is a "Search" button at the top. Click it. There will be several input boxes. Type in: 'change AND order AND number' You should be able find all the posts dealing with changing the order number in far less than 2 days. :)

Who knows ;-) I simply don't loose the hope that someday it will be normal for our forum users to read the FAQ / Rules and act accordingly. Maybe I am too optimistic ... You can't have everything.
