Since Host moved my site from old server to new server Dec. 10, 2006, several problems have occured. Everything worked before the site was moved to the new server.

1. Customers have reported by phone that they cannot reach secure checkout page. IE shows user message that says, "Page cannot be displayed."

2. I receive a certificate warning message when I try to log in to the shop admin. My Certificate is valid.

3. I cannot log in to my shop email to receive messages using my mail agent. I use Thunderbird not Outlook. However: I can send messages to customers from within the shop admin.

Since Dec 10, 2006 I have been not received any help from the hosting service. In fact now they completely ignore my requests for help.

My shop has been out of business for two months and I believe the problems are directly connected to the server move. Can anyone amoung you offer any advise that will help me fix the problem.

The first most obvious step is to cancel your contract with your current host and move to a good host with good service. I would recommend united hosting as I host a number of sites with them and their customer service is legendary. Any host that ignores requests for help should be taken out and shot!

Have you checked that all your settings are correct in your config files? It could be that the file system path has changed since you were on the other server.

Please don't give your host any more grace and change straight away.

Thank you for your reply and your suggesstions. I did not want to change any settings on my end because I believe the problem should be addressed by the hosting service. However, I will look into the config files and see if there is a mismatch.
