Shadyone
I've got the same problem so rather than start a new thread.... I'm in Australia, we have a 10% GST on everything I sell. I have set up 'Zones' within the country, different states. I have applied the Tax to all Zones in the Country and Tax Class set as follows' -Tax Class title to 'Taxable Goods' -Zone to Australia -Tax Rate (%) to 10.00 -Priority to 1 All my products are set to 'Taxable Goods' But still no joy when order is totaled. Anyone have an idea? I'm sure its something simple that I'm overlooking....I hope! Cheers
Shadyone
OK, I still dont have it but.. I've read a few more posts about this topic, seems there are plenty of people having the same problem. Iwent thru and added tax zones for each state, even tho they are all the same tax rate and rather setting the tax to 'all zones' in the country I set them for each state...Stil no joy. I then went in and duplicated the tax rate so I had 2 tax rates set up for the whole country and the outcome was that when browsing the products they showed up with double the normal tax rate but when I purchased a products it still showed up with no tax in the order confirmation...... I'm starting to run out of idea's people's. Any got any?

Shadyone
I've just been trying to get a shipping cost added on and am having the same problems as with the tax. I managed to install a different module for shipping and a shipping cost did appear on the final 'invoice', it wasnt the shipping charge I wanted but its a step in the right direction. The interesting thing I noticed was that it came up with this below ------------------------------------------- Please select the preferred shipping method to use on this order. Please Select Single Zone Rates No shipping available to the selected country Flat Rate Best Way $8.25 ----------------------------------------- I am interested in why it said that there is 'No shipping available to the selected country '. I'm wondering whats happening with the zoning. I am assuming that the shipping and tax problem might be the same thing.

baxtersoup
If you've just modified the existing Florida tax zone it doesn't always seem to work. Try removing your tax zone and class then re-add it all. That's worked for me.
netspee
Thank you.... I did it. I think we need to remove the tax zone and then create new one not modifying existing Florida.
earthmoving
Ok Guys, I an new at this, I had the Aus GST tax problem, I relised I modified the US tax zone, to Australia but when I click on details it still showed Florida, I went back, inserted a new tax zone called Australia, which gave the zones (choice of all zones or showed each state eg: South Australia) I set that up and then went back and deleted the orginal modification from America and that had Florida zone in it. My GST shows up in the invoice, I hope that helps :P
