Security Issue - potential

I have noticed a few scammers trying to buy stuff with fraudulent credit cards on some oscommerce stores then I am involved with.

 

I now realize that these scammers from Ghana ( I traced the IP) are targeting oscommerce shops based on a search inquiry that was tracked in my tracking software linking the scammer to his search;

The guy Googled: projector shop in USA via shipping POWERED BY OSCOMMERCE

 

I know this forum promotes having this text on the site but I think that an image based logo would be better.

I have since removed "powered by: osCommerce" from these sites.

 

If there was a uniform, image based logo, I'd consider placing it back up.

 

Is anyone else noticing a trend in scammers targeting oscommerce shops?

Sometimes shipping to a US based address, usually a freight fowarding shop who then ships the merchandise off to Africa..
