MrsZippy
This is my first attempt at building a shop and we are hoping to go live within the next week or 2. I've already made most of the major changes but there are still a few things to sort: 1) get a border to show around the boxes. 2) remove language box & change it to payment box 3) change logo in header 4) change footer to show separator and to show ssl certificate & accepted payments 5) to make text on header nav bar bigger 6) upload rest of products 7) change cartoon images to other design 8) change adress layout on account creation 9) remove adress book for alternative delivery address I've had next to no imput on the site appearance other than from a few close friends so would appreciate any thoughts you can offer. Hopefully that will fix the loading time of a page. 4) Unfortunately the main manufacturer doesn't have pictures of each individual product which we can use. We are going to improvise and do have intentions of getting some product pictures up. Thank you for your imput Kalli :) Jo Smile: A curve that can make a million things straight
chooch
there is something strange about your product info set uphere the site in my opinion is dull because of the black background, it will look better if the colour is changed. and the stock buttons really need to be replaced - by the way, what's the reason for keeping all the left infobox images in the stock grey, not forgetting the categories box left image looks ridiculously out of place with it's curved corner. Good Luck Upon receiving fixes and advice, too many people don't bother to post updates informing the forum of how it went. Until of course they need help again on other issues and they come running back! Why receive the information you require in good faith for free, only to then have the attitude to ignore the people who gave it to you? There's no harm in saying, 'Thanks, it worked'. On the contrary, it creates a better atmosphere. CHOOCH
MrsZippy
there is something strange about your product info set uphere I think thats down to using a large manufacturer logo or having the image settings set too big. I'm still looking into that and how to fix it. and the stock buttons really need to be replaced I have created my own buttons now and uploaded them to the shop. They are much more in keeping with the rest of the shop scheme. by the way, what's the reason for keeping all the left infobox images in the stock grey, not forgetting the categories box left image looks ridiculously out of place with it's curved corner. I read somewhere on here that i can change the images to a transparent gif which experimenting with and also looking at maybe having our own icon inplace of the stand box images. Thankyou for those comments  Smile: A curve that can make a million things straight
