How to modify shipping costs for expensive orders?

Hello,

I've configured my shipping cost table on a per-weight basis, so the costs are proportional to the order's weight. But I'd like to make special shipping offers for orders depending also on PRICE.

So, let's say, shipping costs are $5 for each kilogram, but there is a 50% discount on shipping costs for orders above $100.

Is this possible with OsCommerce? Is there any extension able to do this?

Thanks for your support and this great tool.
