Need a little description of the following:

I am reviewing this script for our site and need more info or descriptions on a few items.

 

We are currently exploring the Configuration 'My Store' section.

 

Zone: I see that when selecting a country all the main countries are selectable, but when it comes to zone it is mostly U.S. states. I would like more info on how other countries use this setting.

 

Switch to Default Language Currency: I am searching for a description of this option.

 

Default Search Operator: I am searching for a description of this option.
