The UPS shipping module seemd to work great for 1 package. However, if you order more than 1 item I run into a problem:

Let's say that I order 1 item that weighs 18 lbs. UPS calculates the shipping great. It is right on the money.

As soon as I add another 18lb item, it calculates the shipping charges based on 1 (36lb) item instead of 2 (18lb) items.

Shipping charges this way are about $10 less than shipping 2 packages.

Is there a fix for this?? Thanks.

Of course you read the documentation on how the shipping is calculated in osC before you posted, did you?

The UPSXML contribution with dimensional support added (see the package) can handle those refinements (ready-to-ship packages/packaging by volume/weight instead of just weight).
