It's the only way to tell whether it's a built-in graphic (and which) or your personal addition. Just between us, remember there are only 10 kinds of people in the world; those who understand binary and those who don't!! Remember, learning is a "do-it-yourself" experience; although, not necessarily a "do-it-BY-yourself" experience. The quickest way to learn is to forget to BACKUP!

If you mean the box that says "Whats new here"? you can get rid of that in the admin css style sheet. I have mine in full view on the left side of the front page.
c-m Posted February 4, 2007 Author Posted February 4, 2007 huh? It looks like some sort of image placer but there is no image there and I want to remove it. I am not sure what you are refering to when you say "admin style sheet". The only CSS i see is the one directly under the catalog folder.
Brooke Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 in your admin under configuration>images set image required to false. it the spot for the category image. since you havent uploaded any it gives you a broken image. What? Yeah, I can do that.

Brooke Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 thnaks;where would I find the code to remove, I looked in images and there is no such named image. where can I edit line so it doesn't call for image. thnx thats why it shows as a broken image, its not in the images folder. the easiest way is to upload a tiny transparent gif as a category image for both of those categories. What? Yeah, I can do that.
