I recently bought a template (12504 on monstertemplates) and simply uploaded all the files on top of the current OSC installation. Interestingly, the admin password was blanked during the installation. When I go to the admin section, it goes right in and does not ask for username and password. Not secure!!! Jack_mcs Posted February 4, 2007 Share Posted February 4, 2007 It it was secure before, then it is because the .htaccess file in admin was overwritten with the upload. If you have a backup of that (you should always have backups), you cna just upload that one file and you will be all set. Otherwise, you need to go into your hosts control panel and set the protection, assuming they offer that option.
