AUST Post Modules - What weights do I enter gram/kg?

Hi,

I have just had the AUST Post modules set up for my website. What weights do I enter for each product? Do I enter the weights in grams or kilograms? The oscommerce page for each product has the area for weight written as 0.00 but for 100g, would I enter 100 or 0.1?

Any advice would be great,

Thanks

Enter your product weights in Kg :) Don't forget that shipping for bulky items is based on cubic weight, so for large items you will need to tell the system that they weigh much more than they actually do.

Hope this helps!

Hi Max,

Thanks for the reply. I have found out that the AUST Post module uses the weight in grams to calculate shipping, but if you think kg is best, I can change to kg. Our company sells beads and jewellery making supplies so they are not bulky items. I was going to switch off the cubic system to use actual weight only.

Thanks again for your help

Hi Nina,

Not a problem! Are we talking about the same contribution? I'm using this one: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,648 - version 2.02c. If not, which contribution are you using?

Max.
