muhsinb Posted February 3, 2007 Share Posted February 3, 2007 Hi All, am pretty new to all this. I've set up my site as per instructions. On my webspace, i can create upto 100 sub domains. Is there anyway, i can create development site up on a sub domain so i don't need to go around changing my live domain site? Guest Posted February 3, 2007 Share Posted February 3, 2007 yes, you need to just make sure that you have a separte SQL DB for the test site so you dont screw up your live shop then upload the test site to your test.domain.com and make sure your config files are pointing to your test domain and test SQLDB other than that its just a matter of treating it like any other site Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
