supersprint
I downloaded oscommerce three days ago and then used the simple design template thingy :P I dont know atall much about php language but even I managed this on my first attemp and in only 2 days... www.supersprint-exhausts.co.uk/catalog Very little content on their at the moment and still a fair way to go until its at a stage to be fully happy. I spent a few hours in total trawling through the excellent support pages on here. I found the answers to my worrying troubles with ease! ddp
I assume, though you don't ask for it, you are looking for feedback. So here it is: 1) You have only one language so get rid of the language box 2) you have one currency so get rid of the currency box 3) you need to add a privacy statement and a conditions page. 4) I am getting a partially encrypted error from your ssl Backup before making changes. Backup before making changes! Backup before making changes!! You did do a backup? eh?
supersprint
Michael, Thankyou very much for taking your time to write your omments. I have acted upon them by removing the currencies, languages and also the manufacturers box. I also moved some boxs from the left column to the right. It looks much better. I am not sure what that SSL problem is. I need to look at that. Thanks again ;) Steve

ddp
Looks better. Don't forget to deal with those info pages. It takes some time but makes it look more like a real business. You can look at other sites similar to yours to get some ideas on what to include. Backup before making changes. Backup before making changes! Backup before making changes!! You did do a backup? eh? ♥Vger
Well, I'm not getting any ssl padlock at all in IE 6 and only a partial one in Firefox. Your website's base href on https pages still reads http:// so it looks as though your hosting company has not fully completed the install of the certificate. Get them to restart Apache for the certificate install to fully complete. Vger
