angrykittie
I have done some modification to my shop and somehow I have gotten a layout on blank space on the index page above the graphic [should be right at the top?] and can not seem to figure out where it is coming from. There seems to be an image there, but when I go to edit it [make it really small] it already is! I have looked in the index files, but do not see anything obvious like <p> or something else. I also noticed that when a specific category is clicked on all I get is an error message instead of the products listing down the page. Any help is greatly appreciated as my php skills are minimal. I am not a web designer/programmer and do not receive any fees for this shop as my family is trying to get this store up and running to help mitigate costs from losses due to Wal Mart, etc. I have screenshots up at www.islemusic.com/troubleshoot.pdf to help with the explaination. Thanks kittie www.islemusic.com/catalog/

angrykittie
Thanks so much Jon, that fixed the error on the product pages, it was the URL's ... do you have any suggestions about the pic on the index page, I can not seem to find where in the code the error in the layout is occuring. Thanks again, Kittie
jonquil
Take a peek (/images/) at image files named table_background*.gif. I imagine they're transparent gifs taking up real estate you'd like to reclaim. Search your pages to find where you can pull out the calls :) jon It's all just ones and zeros....
