mrdalej
I have osCommerce with the "Register Globals" patch applied and I would like to implement the "Additional Shipping Options for Table Module". My server set up is: HTTP Server: Apache/2.2.2 (iTools 8.2.2)/Mac OS X) mod_ssl/2.2.2 OpenSSL/0.9.7l DAV/2 mod_fastcgi/2.4.2 PHP/5.1.5 PHP Version: 5.1.5 (Zend: 2.1.0) To start I went into osCommerce Admin and went to Modules/Shipping and highlighted Table Rate and clicked on "remove" and then I went to my Apache & MySQL admin tool and turned off FTP, WEB and MySQL servers. Then I replaced the two php files and set permissions to be the same as the old files I removed. Then I went back to my Apache & MySQL admin tool and turned on FTP, WEB and MySQL servers. I must have missed something when I installed (replaced) the two php files that come in the "Additional Shipping Options for Table Module" contribution. After I had the two php files replaced in the two folders my Shipping Module lost all of it's functionality? I did get the functionality back by switching back to the original php files. Any help or pointer would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance Group; dale j
mrdalej
As a followup I will add I went back to my original copy of osCommerce that I had patched with the Register Globals patch but NOT Installed and I added the two "table.php" files to this brand new install set. Then I copied this new data to a completely new domain set-up and went through the Install process and all of that worked perfectly but the Shipping failed exactly like the real store had. user1515
I installed this version yesterday: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1446 I didn't go through all that mambo-jambo stuff with disabling FTP and MySQL that you did. Just replaced the two files in the contribution with my existing two files. (Even edited the language file a bit). Worked right away. You just have to put in the right values for each option. HDLLC
I installed this version yesterday: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1446 I didn't go through all that mambo-jambo stuff with disabling FTP and MySQL that you did. Can you sort the rate based on locations? For example, offer a ground and second day to US (conus only) Priority mail option for APO/FPO, Puerto Rico, AK, HI? Trying to find something that will handle those options, and run rates that are accurate. We don't qualify for XML tools, but we have a computed a rate chart based on all of these options. Not finding anything that works... Any ideas? Thanks! --HD
mrdalej
By chance do you have the Register Globals patch applied? Even though none of the files in the Shipping Module contribution & the Register Globals contribution are in common, I am thinking my problem may be in that I have the Register Globals patch applied? Has anybody had success with the "Additional Shipping Options for Table Module" along with the Register Globals contribution? My problem by the way is there is nothing to Install, Edit or anything else after I add the patch. dale j I installed this version yesterday: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1446 I didn't go through all that mambo-jambo stuff with disabling FTP and MySQL that you did. mrdalej
My mistake. I had renamed the two table.php files to table.BAK and then added the two new files. It was my onw ".BAK" files that bit me in the back side. Thanks for the help group.
