Hade
I'm promoting my site, and I'm unsure whether to register it in the Yahoo Directory. The category page is very relevant and all my competitors are on there, but it's $299 per year! Is it worth this? Read the forum rules...
Guest
All depends, how old is your store and what is the link?

mpiscopo
I use Yahoo directory. Not sure if it's really worth the 299, but it does contribute towards Google PageRank.
reflous
does anybody even use yahoo anymore?is "yahoo directory" another term for their "index"? Yahoo is still very relevant, something like 30% of all search traffic goes through them. 10% of my traffic comes from Yahoo while 33% comes from Google. I'm not sure what directory means either. I'm listed in the directory, if I paid for it, it was years ago and I've never paid anything since.
mpiscopo
Yahoo directory is different than being indexed by Yahoo. The directory is at Yahoo Directory - the cost information is at Yahoo Directory Submit Cost
