Guest Posted January 31, 2007 Share Posted January 31, 2007 Hi there, as part of installing the Purchase Without Account contribution I need to execute a mysql file using phpMyadmin. I do have access to this program with my hosting account but arent sure on how to use it or how execute a file using it. Can someone give directions on how I do this? Cheers. Michael. spax Posted January 31, 2007 Share Posted January 31, 2007 Go into phpmyadmin and select yor database. Then look at the tabs top of the screen, click on the one labelled "SQL". On that page, you have the option to either Locate the .sql file on your PC or, you can paste the entire file direct into the text area, then click Go to which option you used. To paste the .sql into the text area, open it up in a text editor first - Notepad is ok if that is all you have - press Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C, click in the text area in phpmyadmin and press Ctrl+V, then click Go. The 2nd step is as follows: 2) Use a file compare program to compare the included files. Look for Code surrounded by // PWA BOF and // PWA EOF. 0703238629 It is a little vague can you shed some light on how this is done? Cheers. Michael.
