jmalewic
I have the same issue - particulary missing the UPS module. My ISP provides osCommerce 2.2-MS2 and it works great on my website howver I'm setting up and building a new store offline on my local computer. I did a clean install of osCommerce 2.2-MS2 downloaded about 2 weeks ago and the UPS module isn't there. Any thoughts? Or - where I can get this module and install it myself? Thank in advance! I think the UPS module can be found here: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1323 I haven't tried yet. I don't know if it's the same as the default UPS module. KPGroup
Apparently they are not included because I can't find them either. Weird. I am pretty sure I saw some ups.php and fedex.php fils in my language folders... I am also pretty sure I saw them in a clean installation not too long ago... Mystery mystery :-"
jmalewic
I've made some headway - my ISP has an install of osCommerce (same build) on their server. I got the ups.php from the sevrer and copyied it into my: catalog\includes\modules\shipping & catalog\includes\languages\english\modules\shipping folders then restarted my web sevrer and db. it seems to work now. I just don't know if that was the cporrect way to fix this or not. That contrib you noted above is a bit more advanced then the out of the box ups module. I will be playing around with it in a few dyas though to see what it can do. If anyone else has some comments or suggestions on the "correct" way of getting the UPS shipping option to work I'd appreciate it. Thanks! Weird. KPGroup
I was looking for these files but couldn't find them. Could you post catalog\includes\modules\shipping\ups.php here? I'd like to try too. I have the following as catalog\includes\languages\english\modules\shipping\ups.php <?php /* $Id: ups.php,v 1.5 2002/11/19 01:48:08 dgw_ Exp $ osCommerce, Open Source E-Commerce Solutions http://www.oscommerce.com Copyright (c) 2002 osCommerce Released under the GNU General Public License */ define('MODULE_SHIPPING_UPS_TEXT_TITLE', 'United Parcel Service'); define('MODULE_SHIPPING_UPS_TEXT_DESCRIPTION', 'United Parcel Service'); define('MODULE_SHIPPING_UPS_TEXT_OPT_GND', 'UPS Ground'); define('MODULE_SHIPPING_UPS_TEXT_OPT_1DM', 'Next Day Air Early AM'); define('MODULE_SHIPPING_UPS_TEXT_OPT_1DA', 'Next Day Air'); define('MODULE_SHIPPING_UPS_TEXT_OPT_1DP', 'Next Day Air Saver'); define('MODULE_SHIPPING_UPS_TEXT_OPT_2DM', '2nd Day Air Early AM'); define('MODULE_SHIPPING_UPS_TEXT_OPT_3DS', '3 Day Select'); define('MODULE_SHIPPING_UPS_TEXT_OPT_STD', 'Canada Standard'); define('MODULE_SHIPPING_UPS_TEXT_OPT_XPR', 'Worldwide Express'); define('MODULE_SHIPPING_UPS_TEXT_OPT_XDM', 'Worldwide Express Plus'); define('MODULE_SHIPPING_UPS_TEXT_OPT_XPD', 'Worldwide Expedited'); ?> But I don't have the other ups.php Thanks in advance. KPGroup
Nevermind. Forget about the above request :P I just found out the HTML module doesn't work well for Canadian origins. I'll go with the XML one. Wish me luck. ;)
