Danijel Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Hi there, I deleted English as a language as I don't need it. An I guess this could be the reason why I get the following message: Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/languages/slovensko.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/emporos01/domains/emporos.si/public_html/trgovina/catalog/iadmin/includes/application_top.php on line 130 instead of the admin module when I try to enter my administration module. How can I solve the problem. Thx, Danijel

How can I solve the problem. Thx, Danijel Are you sure you deleted the right language? Because if it were a problem with you deleting english, that error would say: Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/languages/english.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') It's saying it can't find the slovakian language file... Check to make sure the file exists and that it can be read... Richard. Richard Lindsey

The only languages available with stock osCommerce are english, german and spanish. I assume you downloaded this language package and the files found in this package should go: 1) For the admin: copy everything underneath the admin directory to (catalog)/admin/includes/languages 2) For the catalog: copy the slovensko.php file to (catalog)/includes/languages and the files within the directory slovensko to (catalog)/includes/languages/slovensko
Danijel Posted January 31, 2007 Author Posted January 31, 2007 Another funny thing happened. I manually reinserted the English language with MyAdminPHP. Now the admin module works in english, when I choose Slovenian it still posts the same error message... but now I have another problem: I can't see my products in the admin module. IN the shop they are there, all of them. but in the admin none, no categories, no products.... HELP!!!

Assuming you are still working/testing/learning with the stock osCommerce installation I would say: just re-install.

Thank you for fast reply. Did reinstall. Same problem - when I import the sql of the database the problem occurs. Before I reinstalled I exported the sql of the database to have all data inside. When I reinstall everything is OK, but when I import the SQL and setup the database with all data the problem occurs. Yes, I did install the langauge correctly in the right directories. Before I deleted the English everything was working fine. But now... hm... THX

Did you set/make the slovenian language default after/before removing the english ?! As you already made manual changes to your previous installation that might give the problem back when you import that into a new install. It could well be that the language_id field with the products is not in sync with the language_id fields from the languages table anymore. If you have exported that error you will import it again in every new shop.

I reentered english as language with Id 1 in languages table, but nope, no effect. I didn't edit the database without the admin module. Any other ideas?

A question I still have is if everything works okay if you install a clean osCommerce, delete the english language and add the slovenian language ? Does this go withouth errors in catalog or admin side of the shop ? If that works okay it must be something in your exported file from the previous shop and you may sent me a copy if you like to have test with myself.
