mugitty
Is there a way to retain a customer's session with items in the shopping cart when browsing folders above the catalog folder where osC is installed? My current setup is pretty standard, except I've moved the admin folder to be outside of the catalog folder: TOP LEVEL -> ADMIN -> CATALOG -> -> CATALOG FOLDERS -> SUBDOMAIN -> etc. I would like customers to be able to add things to cart, be able to browse to TOP LEVEL or SUBDOMAIN, then return to CATALOG and still have their cart populated with the items they put into it. Currently, the index at TOP LEVEL is HTML, but I have no problem changing it to PHP if this could be accomplished (possibly by requiring catalog/application_top.php on the TOP LEVEL and SUBDOMAIN pages ???) Thanks for any suggestions! ... if you want to REALLY see something that doesn't set up right out of the box without some tweaking, try being a Foster Parent!
