I could use some guidance (from experience)

Hi all,

 

I have my first osC site up and running and I pushed hard to get the owners to use this and they seem happy. Except for one (critical) area. There doesn't seem to be a shipping module that fits our needs.

 

We had the following available in the old cart (a vendor written, vendor supplied cart).

 

USPS

Standard and Priority for the continental US

Standard and Prioriry for Alaska and Hawaii

 

USPS

Airmail Parcel Post and Global Express Mail (International)

 

and

 

UPS

Ground and Next Day Air for the continental US

Ground and Next Day Air for Alaska and Hawaii

 

UPS

Worldwide Express (International)

 

But I could only get the 'Regions' mod installed and that gives a total of 3 options (Cont. US - Outside Cont. US - International)

 

I saw the MVS mod but I am not sure this will do what I need (based on what I am reading and all the mods since 1.1). But I have been down the path of installing mods based on text info and no example, only to find out it will not do what I want and or have to revert back because it will not function. (Usually because there is half a dozen patches and I miss read the instructions somewhere and/or the instructions are ambigous).

 

I don't expect Plug 'n Play but wanted someone with true experience's guidance.
