Help please getting Error Code: -12263

I thought I was finished with the basic set-up and started by adding an item for purchase. I can add item to shopping cart with no problem, but then I found that if I try to use Checkout I get the error message-

"tonjastreasures.com has sent an incorrect or unexpected message. Error Code: -12263"

Same message when I clink Create Account, Login or try to access My Account.

Site link: http://tonjastreasures.com/store/index.php

I've scoured the forum and database for answer, but found nothing with the same error. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks

Sorry about duplicate post. Thought computer was hanging and hit post button a second time.

Well, googling the bulk of this error text, I came across this post:

http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Tal.../threadid:49925

And another couple of message threads I saw out there all had one thing in common, it was a self-signed ssl cert, which I'm guessing is the case with you too... His resolution in this case was listed as:

This one goes under stupid human tricks...I forgot to put SSLEngine on in

the site's conf file *DOH*

Thanks for the help Richard. :)

"self-signed ssl cert" = the SSL certificate I share with my host? I'm usually pretty good at figuring this stuff out, but feeling way over my head here.

I wish I had a better answer for you, but there's a wikipedia article about it:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-signed_certificate

I think self-signed means it's generally for testing purposes, meaning you signed off on its authenticity yourself, rather than getting an authority like verisign or thawte to sign off on it...
